Here is a recipe for flat bread (the name actually is naan, its an indian bread) that we recently found online. They are simple to make and we all love it. Ash makes it anytime we need to take food somewhere, Mae makes banana bars. I’ll post the recipe for the banana bars another time. Here is the link:

Tip: the first time we made these they tasted the best. We used the little bit of white flour that we had left, but mostly wheat or whole wheat white, but we didn’t measure the flour. We just threw it in til it was the texture they said and I put a little oil in a pan on the stove and made them that way. We didn’t use the garlic either, actually we’ve never used it yet, and these taste like the ones you buy at the grocery store. If you want them to be big enough for wrap type sandwiches use two of the golf ball sized balls together and stretch them pretty thin they puff up a bit. Enjoy and let us know what you think if you try these. -Tina

Hi Tina, I just recently found that I have an allergy to foods. I have to be on a gluten free diet. This is going to be a little difficult for me being that I love so much of the food that will be cut out of my diet. If you’re not familiar with this allergy, it means cutting out these ingredients; wheat, rye, oats, barley, gluten stabilizers. Anything containing oat gum or injected with hydrolized or texturized vegetetable protien. All of this and more. As you can see, it will take some careful planning for my meals from now on. The allergy is something that anyone can get at any given time. I haven’t seen the doctor for this allergy as of yet. I think he is called a gastronologist. Don’t quote me on that! So, if you would happen to know anyone who may have a recipe of this sort, please let me know. I will be looking myself for more information and details about my new problem. I am sure that I will adjust, in fact a few people that I have spoken with said this; ” you will be eating a lot healthier from now on” So it’s not all so bad, right? Love you.

We make something similar based on the recipe for bread used in making sacrifices in the Bible. (Flour, honey, salt, oil fried in a pan.) It is excellent.

Oh, and for the above–there are TONS of Gluten free recipes out there, a quick search will get a ton and if he is up here then FRankferd Farms carries a great recipe book “The Everything Gluten Free Cookbook” I think and has all the ingredients.
