Before I go any further I’m just gonna say I’m using this blog today as my soapbox so here goes. How is it that you sometimes think you’ve found a friend only to find out that you were just a passing phase? Why is it that people you shared so much time with & talked to in a personal way (not just how’s the weather kinda stuff) just fly past when something someone they feel is better comes around? I mean we’re not in 7th grade anymore, right? When I was younger I understood this, we moved once sometimes twice a year so it was sometimes hard to make friends and sometimes it was actually easy. But aren’t we ADULTS now?!!! Can’t we juggle more than ONE friend in life? Can’t we keep the friends we have and still make new friends? Yes, I am irritated! Irritated that I’m great when people need to know something I have knowledge of but not good enough to actually befriend!! I am irritated that apparently some people NEVER grow up! I’m irritated that people who call themselves christians get into “clicks” like in junior high school !! You know, as I type this I’m thinking maybe I was actually looking to the wrong people for friendship? All I can say is I guess my Dad was right. He always told me you’re lucky if you go through life with one or two true friends! I have that so maybe I should just be satisfied!

M fell in a puddle while playing in the snow. She's wearing my coat and was so mad I took this!
Yesterday we finally got some snow! I was beginning to think that this winter wasn’t going to produce any for us.

You can see that the trees were just getting tricked into thinking it was spring and about to bloom
I love it! It was beautiful!

This is the tree in front of our house. It covers almost the whole front yard
I know, all of you back home are like Tina we are so sick of snow but we love to get a day or so of it.

This is my row of garlic
We even got to go sledding with some friends.

M & Cara on their first trip down the hill
We are currently running on one car but a friend picked us up & we went to her house to sled with her & her kids.

It was great to take the day and “play”.

Enjoying everything!
With homeschooling and worrying about them knowing this or that I don’t think we play enough.

After today though, I realize that we (the girls & I) all need this release more often than we’ve been taking it and I need to make sure that we get it when we need it.

Enjoying friends dogs
Here’s a funny one-J had a three hour delay for work yesterday!! Being from an area used to snow on a regular basis this floored us both!

Building the fort for the battle about to be fought
And today he had to be there two hours late, lol! I know, around here they’re not quite as equipped, we just never heard of this before!
