Good question. Where have we been? Well, we’ve been around. Its just getting busier and busier on a daily basis. I currently have a house full of soil blocks and seedlings of several veggies and herbs.

Let me just say that it is a lot of work to keep it all healthy and growing well.

I have so many that I just can’t possibly plant another thing until this stuff goes out into the garden (literally I have no more room! We have hundreds of seedlings!).

Thankfully we only have about another month! I will then probably be even busier!

Then it’ll be time to plant the things that need started outside along with transplanting our seedlings into the ground, mulching and potting up some more soil blocks in the house.

Last week I actually bought some worms and started another worm bin. I was able to find the worms at a local farm through our extension office so if you’re in the market try there first. They seem to be doing alright although every morning I find a couple up toward the lid and need to find out if there’s a reason for this or if its really not a big deal. I have just been putting them back down into the bin. Their new home where they will be loved and cared for whether they like it or not!

Yesterday we took a nice field trip to Biltmore with a good friend & her daughter. I’ll post some of the pics from that later in another post.
