Remembering to Give Thanks

10 Jan

I know I’m a day behind on this post but my morning yesterday was spent at the hemotologist’s office. It’s always kind of depressing going to the pediatric hemotologist because you see so many children who have cancer and have lost their hair, etc. We also had to listen to an infant’s screams as my daughter was getting her blood drawn. Apparently the baby didn’t enjoy having blood drawn either! Being there, however, is a bit of a grounding experience. It shows me how truly thankful I should be for all that I have. I may not have wealth in the secular way of thinking but I certainly am rich by God’s standards!

May God grant continued good news from the hematologist. I loved the entry on the “pajamas and unkempt hair meowing back at the cat.” It’s amazing how vividly these lists allow me to picture someone’s life.

You linked to Ann’s list two spots ahead of me this week, and I clicked over because my family calls me Tina and I don’t encounter others by that name very often. Grace and peace to you this week, Tina.

Thanks Tina! Unkempt hair and animal noises tend to be a comment thing around our house. I’m sorry it has taken me so long to comment. I’ve been neglectful of my blog lately :-( So your name isn’t Tina? Mine actually is but I was asked a lot as a kid if it was short for Christina. Have a blessed week. ~Tina
